They held a forum and exchange meeting with experts from Inner Mongolia Stage Art Society and local industry elites to renew friendships, explore cooperation opportunities and boost development.

Visiting and Exchanging, Discussing New Industrial Opportunities Together
To facilitate better communication and interaction, Mr. Deng Lei, President of Inner Mongolia Stage Art Society, and Mr. Haote, Honorary President, organised experts from the society to hold discussion exchanges with Secretary-General Chen Yanshan and her delegation from SCEE.

On behalf of Inner Mongolia Stage Art Society, President Deng Lei extended a warm welcome to Secretary-General Chen Yanshan and her delegation during their visit to Hohhot. He expressed gratitude to the Industry Association of South China Entertainment Equipment (SCEE) for travelling a long way to Inner Mongolia for this exchange. He looked forward to closer cooperation between the two associations, taking GETshow as a key platform to explore collaboration in talent cultivation for the industry and the integration of technology and art. This will enable the artistic creativity of the grasslands and the lighting & audio technology of South Guangdong to converge and blend beautifully.

Mr. Haote, Honorary President of Inner Mongolia Stage Art Society, expressed his gratitude to SCEE for its consistent care and support for the performing arts and cultural sector in Inner Mongolia. He thanked the Association for inviting Inner Mongolian experts and industry elites to Guangdong for GETshow every year. Through GETshow, they are able to keep abreast of new products and cutting-edge technologies in the global entertainment equipment industry, which greatly facilitates innovation and creation among artists.

During the discussion, experts from Inner Mongolia shared enthusiastic views and had in-depth exchanges on topics including emerging industry trends, new approaches to talent cultivation, and how technology and art can be integrated. They spoke highly of SCEE for leveraging its role as an industry platform and building a channel for communication between manufacturers and end users. In particular, by hosting the “GETshow Cup” competitions, the association has effectively explored ways for the industry to empower talent and foster professional growth. Moving forward, they will actively recommend outstanding young talents to take part in the contest. They will also give full play to Inner Mongolia’s resource advantages and organise teachers from professional troupes and performing arts practitioners to visit and exchange ideas next year, so as to promote resource sharing and joint projects between the two regions.

Secretary-General Chen Yanshan began by thanking President Deng Lei, Honorary President Haote and all experts for their warm reception. She extended sincere greetings from President Liang Zhiyuan of SCEE to everyone. She expressed gratitude to the Inner Mongolian experts for travelling across mountains and seas to Guangzhou to support GETshow every year, noting that this bond vividly embodies the integrated development of the industrial chain. She introduced the current development overview of Guangdong’s performing arts equipment industry and how the association empowers high-quality industrial development by hosting GETshow.

Guangdong is home to professional stage lighting and audio enterprises accounting for over 85% of the national output value, forming a market pattern where “China leads the world in entertainment equipment, and Guangdong leads China in this sector”. Since 2011, in response to practical industry demands, the Industry Association of South China Entertainment Equipment (SCEE) has been hosting GETshow — Guangzhou (International) Entertainment Equipment, Intelligent Audio & Lighting Technology Show, a non-profit industry exhibition held locally. Having run successfully for 14 editions so far, it has attracted more than one million professional visitors from over 100 countries and regions worldwide to Guangzhou for visits and procurement.
