Forging Ahead, Shining Bright｜2026 Chongqing Exchange Meeting hosted by Industry Association of South China Entertainment Equipment (SCEE) Concludes Successfully

Mount Bashan and Yu waters host brilliant stages. To strengthen the connection and cooperation between upstream and downstream industrial chains of Guangdong and Chongqing, the “GETshow: Forging Ahead, Shining Bright — 2026 Chongqing Exchange Meeting of Industry Association of South China Entertainment Equipment (SCEE)” was grandly held at Chongqing Ronghui Peninsula Hotel on the afternoon of September 15.

Hosted by Industry Association of South China Entertainment Equipment (SCEE), the event was co-organized and supported by Chongqing Performing Arts Equipment Industry Association (COPAEIA) and Chongqing Institute of Stage Design Nearly 80 representatives including leaders of industry associations, experts and entrepreneurs from Guangdong and Chongqing gathered together. They exchanged friendship, explored cooperation opportunities and boosted industrial development, jointly opening a new chapter for the coordinated development of the performing arts industry in Guangdong and Chongqing.

Building Consensus, Discussing New Industrial Opportunities for Guangdong-Chongqing Cooperation

The exchange event was hosted by Ms. Xie Fang, Party Branch Secretary and Office Director of Industry Association of South China Entertainment Equipment (SCEE). She expressed gratitude to all participants for taking time out of their busy schedules to attend today’s industry exchange.

At the start of the event, Mr. Liang Zhiyuan, President of Industry Association of South China Entertainment Equipment (SCEE), delivered an enthusiastic address via video. On behalf of the Association, he extended sincere greetings to industry experts, professionals and entrepreneurs in Southwest China, especially those in Chongqing. He expressed heartfelt gratitude to Chongqing industry peers for their long-term care and support for SCEE, and warmly invited everyone to visit and communicate at GETshow in Guangzhou from February 24 to 27, 2027, to jointly pursue new industrial development.

Then, Mr. Zhou Xiaobo, President of Chongqing Institute of Stage Design, took the stage to deliver a speech. He mentioned that the development of stage art relies on the empowerment of cutting-edge performing arts technology. He expressed special gratitude to Industry Association of South China Entertainment Equipment (SCEE) for building GETshow as an international exhibition platform. The platform not only provides advanced equipment support for stage art creation, but also facilitates technical exchanges and talent interaction. He looks forward to frequent visits, more communications and in-depth cooperation between Guangdong and Chongqing in the future, to jointly promote the high-quality development of performing arts technology and stage art.

Mr. Li Yu, President of Chongqing Performing Arts Equipment Industry Association (COPAEIA), took the stage to deliver a speech. He first thanked SCEE for selecting Chongqing as the first stop of this year’s national industry exchange meeting, stating that this arrangement demonstrates high recognition and great affirmation of the industry in Southwest China.

The performing arts market in Chongqing has been vibrant in recent years, boasting abundant scene resources and large-scale projects. Such achievements rely heavily on strong support from the industrial base in Guangdong, as well as continuous empowerment brought by the GETshow platform. He praised GETshow as the most professional, dedicated and industry-oriented exhibition in China. He also mentioned that the association will continue to fully support the development of SCEE, actively participate in GETshow 2027, and further strengthen the links and cooperation between the industries of Guangdong and Chongqing.

Looking ahead to GETshow, Building a Grand Platform for Industrial Integration

At the event, Ms. Chen Yanshan, Secretary-General of Industry Association of South China Entertainment Equipment (SCEE), introduced the development of SCEE and the future plans for GETshow to all attendees.

She expressed heartfelt gratitude to all attendees for their long-term attention, trust and strong support for SCEE and the GETshow exhibition. She gave a comprehensive introduction from three dimensions: GETshow's origin and development journey, core highlights, and industry value.

Her presentation helped attendees better understand that since its establishment in 2011, SCEE has always upheld the original mission of hosting public-welfare exhibitions and serving the industry. Through intuitive data, she also showcased the achievements of GETshow — having been successfully held for 14 editions, attracting over 1 million professional visitors from more than 100 countries and regions worldwide, and effectively driving the vigorous development of the upstream and downstream industrial chains.

Secretary-General Chen Yanshan highlighted the features and highlights of GETshow 2027. She sincerely invited industry experts, engineers, system integrators and industry elites from Southwest China to attend GETshow in Guangzhou from February 24 to 27, 2027. They can connect with high-quality supply chains, access resources across the whole industry and share new opportunities in the sector.

Witnessed by all guests on site, a simple yet solemn strategic cooperation signing ceremony was held. Industry Association of South China Entertainment Equipment (SCEE) signed strategic cooperation agreements with Chongqing Performing Arts Equipment Industry Association (COPAEIA) and Chongqing Institute of Stage Design. It is expected that taking this as a new starting point, SCEE will further carry out multi-dimensional communication and connection with Chongqing and even the entire Southwest China. All parties will give full play to their respective platform advantages to jointly empower the high-quality development of the industry.

Dialogue and Exchange: Generating New Ideas for Industrial Development

The exchange meeting was held in a warm and vibrant atmosphere. Participants spoke actively and shared their views freely on topics including market opportunities in Southwest China’s performance industry, integration of technological innovation, and cross-regional cooperation. They exchanged valuable experience and discussed development paths together.
