On 4 October 2026, the 20th Asian Games concluded successfully in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan. After 32 years, the Asian Games returned to Japan. Athletes from 45 countries and regions across Asia gathered to compete in 43 sports disciplines, writing a new chapter of Asian sports with perseverance and passion.

01 | From Hangzhou to Aichi-Nagoya, Renewing the Asian Games Commitment

In 2023, the 19th Asian Games was held in Hangzhou. ShineStage’s stage structure products were applied in Asian Games projects, leaving practical footprints in international major sports events. Three years later, the Asian Games was held in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan. Multiple stage structures of ShineStage YS Series were adopted again in relevant competition venues and event spaces.

From Hangzhou to Nagoya, the host city and application environment have changed, yet the pursuit of professional structures, functional performance and product quality remains consistent. For the enterprise, these are more than two project experiences; they represent a continuous process of understanding international client demands and improving products and services.

Large-scale events require more than just a main stage. Exhibition zones, meeting rooms, indoor activities and passage areas around the competition venues often call for different platform heights, structural layouts and functional requirements. With combinations of modular platforms, support frames and associated components, the ShineStage YS Series provides structural options for a wide range of application scenarios.

Competition Stage | Modular Combinations to Respond to Variable Space Requirements

The YS Series stage platforms form the required layout through the assembly of structural units. In photos taken during factory pre-assembly, multiple platform units create a continuous usable area, with the bottom support frames cooperating with the tabletops. The value of modular design lies not only in enabling various stage configurations, but also in matching product configurations to specific space requirements.

Barrier-free Access Ramp | Extending Professionalism to Usage Details

In this relevant project in Japan, the access ramp is one of the scenarios where the practical value of structural products can be most easily perceived. In the on-site photos, the black platforms connect to the entrances of temporary buildings. Metal handrails are installed on both sides of the passage to form a clear access route. The platform transitions, ramp structures and handrail connections all need to be designed according to the actual space and usage conditions.

From the pre-assembled ramps finished in the factory to the access facilities integrated at the site in Japan, the value of the products lies not only at the centre of the stage, but also in the details that take every user into consideration.

behind every complete stage and ramp lies the coordination of various structural components. a large volume of factory footage was documented for this japan project, covering platform assembly, trial assembly of handrails and ramps, dimension inspection and packaging preparation.

how platform panels cooperate with support frames, how handrails connect to structures, and how ramps achieve end transitions — these details may not appear in promotional highlight videos, yet they are concrete tasks that must be addressed during actual manufacturing and application.

04 | from asian games to winter games: diverse product systems, continuously serving sports events

ShineStage’s experience in sports events extends beyond this Japan project. At the 19th Hangzhou Asian Games in 2023, the company accumulated experience in stage structures for large-scale international sports events. The 1st Winter Sports Games of Shaanxi Province, held from 6 to 11 February 2026, demonstrated another set of the company’s capabilities in TRUSS trusses and intelligent rigging systems.

According to the enterprise’s engineering case documents, the Shaanxi project adopted TRUSS trusses and intelligent rigging systems for large-scale performance scenarios, delivering supporting solutions for stage space, equipment suspension, structural assembly and lifting control. Unlike the YS Series stage platforms, trusses and intelligent rigging systems address more complex overhead structures and lighting fixture configurations.

One delivers modular platforms for various activity zones; the other provides trusses and intelligent rigging systems for large venues. Different products, varied working conditions and diverse event scenarios together form ShineStage’s comprehensive project portfolio in sports events.
